AquaX is the fastest growing personal watercraft championship in the world. Its rapid growth is owed to a simple, yet challenging race format that appeals to todays personal watercraft users.
This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

On the eve of its opening race event of the season this weekend, when the world’s best personal watercraft riders will descend on Daytona Beach, P1 USA has announced that South Florida Ford Dealers will be the title sponsor of three of its P1 AquaX events this year and also be the ‘Official Tow Vehicle’ of the 2017 season.
“P1 AquaX racing has created a huge following through its TV programming, great race locations and all-action events over the last four years and this new sponsorship with a world class name like Ford is testament to the growth and appeal of our series,” says P1 USA managing director, Azam Rangoonwala. “We know that South Florida Ford is not just about cars and trucks, but all about South Florida and its people, events and experiences, so we believe there is a natural fit between our sport and the Ford dealerships.”
South Florida Ford’s title sponsorship will embrace three key P1 AquaX Grand Prix of the Sea events across the year:
“Partnerships are at the heart of our P1 business model and we are looking forward to working with the South Florida Ford dealers to develop an effective marketing and promotional programme to meet their business needs,” added Azam. “The campaign will include the P1 AquaX World Championship in Key West at the end of the year, and all the racing this season will be live streamed on Facebook with highlights on FOX sports Florida.”
