2013 AquaX USA Calendar

15th - 16th June – Daytona Beach. FL.

20th - 21st July – Pahookee. FL.

17th - 18th August – Cocoa Beach. FL.

14th - 15th Sept – Marathon. FL.

Step 1- competence and understanding

To enter an AquaX event you must be a competent personal watercraft rider and have read and fully understand the AquaX Rulebook

Step 2 - national race licence/membership

You must hold a valid race licence/membership of your national governing body the IJSBA, you can join here

Step 3 - entry forms

Download an AquaX entry form, and fill in the relevant details, from this website. You can either enter per event or enter for all 4 races of the championship, which includes a discount.

The entry must include a copy of your race licence/membership card and no.

Per event = $50.00 - entry deadline - 2 weeks before you wish to the race.

Per Championship = $150 (4 races for the price of 3) – entry deadline - To receive this offer you must enter 1 month before the start of the championships.

The form can be filled out online and printed off and returned to the P1 office with the appropriate fees.

Step 4 - equipment & gear

You will need all the necessary equipment and safety gear. See FAQ link
1. A suitable personal watercraft - sitdown 2 - 4 seater which fits within the AQX regulations - See rulebook 
2. A full-face motocross helmet - snell, dot or recognised industry standard, with a D-ring fastener 
3. A full spinal back protector
4. 4-buckle front fastening or 2-buckle PWC impactor type life vest – 50N coastguard approved.
5. Wetsuit/riding gear.
6. Boots (gloves and goggles recommended)

Step 5 - Race Number 

Upon receiving your completed entry form you will be allocated a race number for the season. Riders that sign up for the Championship Package Entry will be given the option to choose their number. Elite riders (riders with previous race experience) can use existing race numbers if not already taken. Amateur riders that take out an event entry will be allocated a race number.

Step 6 - AquaX Racer Training 

AquaX racer training is compulsory for everyone taking part in an AquaX event. See training page

Once we have received your completed entry form with the appropriate fees we will contact you with AquaX racer training dates. The training will take place on the Friday before the proposed event.
